Washburn N4 Nuno Bettencourt Signature - Repair + More

Well, this was an odd one... you definitely don't see many of these around, especially a left handed model. I'm pretty sure this is B-stock, the sources lead back to the 'Funky Munky' fella who was a big dealer of Washburn/Nuno guitars back in the day.

The main issue was a bad fitting neck, have you seen the crazy neck heel on these things!?

This required some sanding to get a nice flush fit for the optimal string alignment.

The nut is a rear mounted Floyd Rose locking nut with badly drilled holes which made it all line up slightly 'off'. It was tough to get the correct recessed holes because the rear mounts go in too far and push out of the top of the nut. I've managed to get the correct placement but needed some shims to correct the height.

I've Setup with Rotosound 10's, around 0.15" Neck relief at the 7th fret and a low-mid action height, the guitar plays great, I really like the feel and look of the natural wood. Ready to Extreme 😉✌️
