This really cool sounding Simon & Patrick 'Woodland Cedar' acoustic came to the Workshed to be converted into a semi-acoustic and have a well needed service and setup.
I began routing out the bottom of the guitar to house a 10mm barrel style jack, fitted with 3 piezo pickups. I spent some time finding the perfect placement to offer a well rounded tone, 2 piezos under the bridge and 1 towards the sound hole seemed to work best to amplify the already great tone woods.
Finished off with a Fretbuzz Service and setup to clear up those tarnished frets with plenty of quality oils soaked into that dry rosewood.
