This Fender had a really uncomfortable playability, the plastic nut and saddle were both too high and had no resonance.
I really enjoy making bone nuts, it requires a steady hand and lots of concentration. You can take off, but you can't put back on! (Well, I do have a method if that was to happen 😂)
I used a slab of bleached bone for the compensated saddles and unbleached for the top nut. Both were cut for Elixir 10-47" to help a new guitarist with ease of playability. Full fretboard conditioning and fret polish before a super light setup.
