80's Inspired Mods On Battle Worn 'Charvette'

This guitar has seen some hammer! We originally wanted to simply add some Scarlet or Crimson Red either on pickup covers or machine heads but nature ran it's course and we now have this 80s behemoth that looks like it was dug up from a time capsule on Sunset Strip 😀

The original trem block was one of the coolest bodge jobs Ive ever seen and looked like Ozzy Osbourne had bitten a chunk out of it, I've replaced it with a standard strat block ✌️

There was some serious Grunge on the fretboard and frets, this cleaned up nicely with a hefty lemon oil treatment and going up through the grades for a fine fret polish

For the pickups we decided on keeping the Charvel neck pickup, using an Alnico V vintage spec for the middle and a Jailhouse Rail hotrail for the bridge. On paper this sounds crazy, but there's some really great tone combinations!

Replaced the vol and tone knobs with Marty Mcflys Delorean stereo buttons and took the tuner buttons from David Gilmours 19th Century Acoustic.

To finish off I've set this beast up with skinny top, heavy bottoms and an appetite for destruction 🤘

The beast being mine, I shall finger it with pride.
